Pune: The prestigious welcome ceremony, ‘Diksharambha-24’, for the 9th batch of newly admitted students at MIT University of Art, Design, and Technology, Vishwarajbagh, Pune, begins today with a grand event. This three-day celebration, held in the specially constructed ‘Swami Vivekananda Sabha Mandapat’, will see the participation of thousands of students and their parents.
The event will be presided over by Vishwadharmi Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad, Founder President of the MIT Group of Institutions. Distinguished guests include Dr. G Satish Reddy, President of the Aeronautical Society of India and Scientific Advisor to the Ministry of Defense, and Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Secretary of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Prominent figures such as Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive President and Vice Chancellor of MIT ADT University; Prof. Dr. Sunita Karad, Executive Director; Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramachandra Pujeri; Dr. Anant Chakradev; Dr. Mohit Dubey; and Registrar Dr. Mahesh Chopde will also grace the occasion with their presence.
Throughout this three-day program, students will receive comprehensive information about the university and its various activities. Additionally, Dr. Chopde, the University Registrar, mentioned that students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents during the event.
